Maintenance Engineering was founded on January 17, 1974 by two North Dakotans with a dream of building the finest industrial lighting sales company in America. Beginning in a garage as 300th in size in the industry, we quickly grew to be the Number 1 Premium Quality Lighting Supplier and are recognized as the largest independently owned industrial lighting firm in North America, with offices in the U.S. and Canada. M.E. is proud to call our uniquely beautiful corporate office at 3001 South University Drive in Fargo "home." Our company is also very proud of our state of the art distribution center in Suburban Chicago.

The M.E Team
M.E.’s corporate headquarters employs 110+ people, while the Chicago Distribution Center employs 20. Our nationwide sales force of independent sales representatives numbers near 275. It is M.E.’s view that people--motivated, enthusiastic, caring people--are our most valuable company asset.
